No GPS on Fenix 5x

I am not getting any GPS signal on my Fenix 5x. I performed all the troubleshooting steps found in Forums and Garmin support page. Any ideas?

What does your outdoor swim activity look like in your Garmin Connect account vs. your Strava account? It will tell you if your issue is your Fenix 5 series watch not recording the GPS course…

They both look the same, it records the time but no distance, or sometimes only picks up half of the distance. I have had occurrences whereby it has me swimming on the street instead of in the water. It seems all out of whack!

Given both GC web and Strava both show the same, that tells you what little your watch is recording which signifies a bigger issue with your watch. The most you can try given the severity of the lack of GPS track, would be to factory Master Reset your watch. The Fenix 5 series has been out for 4+ years and there are many users open water swimming and competing in triathlons etc. and their GPS track is fine in open water swimming. It is worth noting that your watch loses GPS signal underwater so your swim style will be a factor too but what you are describing sounds abnormal.
