Kayaking Activity - stroke count / cadence / etc

There have been a few different posts about this, but starting a new one since it's been a while...

More than a year ago now, Garmin added a Kayaking Activity for Fenix 5... thanks very much, but how about an update to the activity to add strokes? I would think this is possible, the watches should have sensors capable.

I don't know if this is already available in the new Kayak Activity, but one thing that I can't do on my Fenix 3HR is swith speed and distance units to nautical metric. That would be another must…

I think the big fail on this activity is that it is only designed for whitewater. If I'm kayaking on the Chesapeake bay, WTF do I want with elevation change.
