Dear All, I Have a Fenix 3 HR and the temperature and barometer sensors stopped working. It just don't measure anymore, but used to work(last time worked was in 18/11/17). Firmware Version: 5.40.0.0 Jul 22 em 15:13 I tried to restore defaults but didn't worked. Can you give me instrunctions in how to fix this? Kind Regards
This is a known issue with the Fenix 3
I am on my third watch in less than 4 years. The temperature will spike to some insane number (589 degrees this time, 888 degrees last time)

@PaulObrelander. Battery life isn’t an issue. As a matter of facts, the Suunto 9 is battery life champ at the moment. But it is quite big. To big for me, but since you have a fenix 3 that might not a problem…

I experience almost same problem. My Garmin Fenix 3 after swim in sea, temperature and barometer (and altimetr) sensor start to showing nothing, like sensor disconected. In last decision was remove this sensor, just need litle pull with some stick. After remove I checking sensor visualy and found that soldering have some corosion. Also found that spiral contact plus+ was wery bad, and resoldering required. I try to resoldering only one side, where was found corosion. This need to have experiens ( I have 15 year ET SLB) and good soldering station, both side have some small component , I think it resistors, if it will desolder - I think no chanse solder back, need to be carefull, almost it like. After resolder 4 point of soldering, garmin was assembled and temp with barometer (altimeter) it working. I can say this is so small even micro soldering operation whish I newer was done before. I used iron soldering station, I think air station can remove small resistor, if you will use, before need to fix this small resistor. If some body want to repaire, not repairable component, you can send watch to me in Kazakhstan, but dilivery will expensive and plus my job if it will work.
