Need open water swim in meters

Hi All, I’ve got a fenix 5s and I need to read my swimming activities to all read in meters but I need all my running and cycling activities to be in miles , is this possible and if so how , need it to also record on my activities in garmin connect too if possible

to be honest I’d even be happy if the swim measured in miles

I don't think there is a way to do this natively without changing the device setting to metric, but I think there is a way you could do it using a ConnectIQ data field. I don't know if anyone ahs developed a specific data field for this but check out AppBuilder 5, you may be able to use it to make your own custom data field to show swim distance in meters: apps.garmin.com/.../fd690281-9c22-4fee-a81e-3b7f39aa67c5
