I have mounted the sram eagle XX1 AXS on my bike.
I want to synchronize it with the Garmin and I see that it only gives me the option of 11 speeds!, but curiously then on the data screen I see 12 speeds 
The fact is that it is impossible to assign values to the 12 speed
Someone else with the same problem? Any solution?
P.D.- I was able to do it without problem in the edge 1030
I got the following answer from the German support:
"We have a few bulletins covering the problem you are describing.The corresponding development departments in the USA have already been informed about the facts.
The colleagues there are checking the problem and working on a solution.
Until then, we would like to ask for your patience.
A statement about when and in what form a solution will be available can unfortunately not be made at this time."
