OWS Patch for Fenix 5

Will there be an Open water swimming Patch for Fenix 5.brfore Galileo it worked. Now I only get bullshit. At DC rainmaker there were rumours that there should be an OWS Patch.

Looks pretty bad. I wish I could test it but it is winter here and my last swim was on 13.0 firmware.

According to DCR they have only released the new FW for MARQ series and Forerunner 945 (F945 did not patch anything either). Both are using SONY GPS chip, which is not in the F5/F5+ series. I do not believ they are working on any fix for F5/F5+, but maybe I am mistaken.

I Have a different issue with my fenix 5. Had it since "birth". Basically when the watch is in OW mode it will only record GPS every 30 to 60 seconds. Now I know you're going to say it's cause the watch is under water.....but I have back to back tested it on dry land.

This is repeatable. The watch does not work properly with in OW. I have it set on GPS + GLO and 1 second recording.

Garmin are telling me it's a software issue, this was their latest update this week:
