No more betas? Is there it?
No more betas? Is there it?
I don't need new features, just fix all the bugs in the existing.
When things are up they have always launched a beta right after a general release...
We still have a lot of bugs but the silent is total.
I have the same question, maybe they do not have more features that to add yo Fenix 5, save money for the new Fenix 6
Well, this is impossible. Just moments ago, a beta was released for the Instinct. 56 days following the last FW update. This can't be so. What happened to the "rules"? Surely, we all thought those days of beta releases for the Instinct had come and go since the time difference was longer than when the 935 or Fenix 5 had their last FW releases. LOL
Are people really complaining about not getting an update since the last update a month ago? The 5 series got an upgrade to 13.30 a month ago...boo who. The Descent Mk1, which is based off the 5x, hasn’t seen an update in 6 months and is 9+ months behind in features that the 5x has..and is 2x the cost of the 5x AND still has numerous problems.
Stop complaining about not getting beta’s.
Not only are some complaining, but one of them keeps voting all my post down instead of answering a simple question. Lol! You post a statement, then when you're asked to defend your argument you ignore the question, but keep voting down my post? It's pathetic enough to be comical. Do your parents know you're playing on their computer? Let me start you off with the first down vote for this post.
You have fans =)
I don't think he realizes if you hover over the votes, it shows who's voting. Since he's the only one voting, he's taken the guesswork out of who's vote is giving me a thumbs up or down.
happy sporting
I was referring only to the 5x.
Beta means Garmin is still working to fix bugs on a given model. I'm not asking for new features.
I understand that. It's only been 40+ days since the 5x was updated. The Instinct received a beta 56 days after an update. So, I don't understand why you think the 5x is done? You may very well be right. I'm just curious as to what leads you to believe this?
I've already explained that my perception is that when things are up they have always launched a beta right after a general release.
Also I only follow my watch model.
If you have another perception good for you.
So....because they don’t have a beta out right now, you’re assuming “The end of the world” has come for the 5x?
Not to take another shot at Garmin here, but I have to ask you a question. Would you assume that if you don’t see an update for 6 months for a watch, that it has reached its EOL?
