Why are the widgets being lost, their order changing and often being restored to the default selection of widgets and order? I expect the widget selection and order to be remembered once set.
This has happened on all 3 new Fenix 5's I have had in the last 4 weeks (2 have been sent back due to multiple software issues, connection problems, barometer not working and more).
Is this normal? Some searching here reveals that this has been happening for the last 12 months. According to these posts there appears to be some triggers for this such as connecting by USB to Garmin Express, or modifying Apps or App settings. Yet again I am asking myself why has this bug not been fixed? When things are being reset or data lost then this is a sign of a software issue that should not be too difficult to find and fix.
I chose the Fenix 5 partly because it supported Apps and Widgets and that I could configure it the way I want. This does not appear to be the case due to this widget corruption. Really really frustrating to say the least.
