fenix 3 HR crashes when syncing with Garmin Connect iOS

Since the latest firmware on my fenix 3 HR (5.40) it regularly crashes when syncing to Garmin Connect (4.19.1.1) on iOS (12.3.1). The watch reboots suddenly and loses steps, sometimes the stepcounter is reset to 0. It seems like Bluetooth is crashing. Is the firmware the problem or Garmin Connect?

I have the same problem, but it doesn't happen all the time ; only some times.

I have the same issue, don’t know if it happens on syncing, it just seems to restart. Sometimes multiple resets in a row
