Training Load synchronisation between Edge 530 and fēnix 5

Hi,

Should the training load metric be the same between my watch and bicycle computer? I can see the watch value updating after synchronising a ride recorded on the Edge, but the number is different!

For example this morning I went for a ride and recorded an exercise load of 312. This was the only activity recorded since both devices had synchronised with Connect. Training load on my Edge increased by about this amount, but only 242 on the fēnix. The value on the fēnix is consistently lower than the value on the Edge, yet both devices apparently are including the same activities.

My activity for the past seven days is two rides (exercise loads 312 and 318) and a few relatively easy walks. Edge is showing a total of 656 (which seems about right - 630 in rides + 26 in walks) and fēnix is showing 468 (which I can't see how that number might be derived).

Am I misunderstanding something about how physio true up is supposed to work on these two devices? Or is it not operating as expected?

There are your getting that TL from? I cannot see individual activity recorded anywhere.

The Edge 530 records "exercise load", which is displayed alongside aerobic and anaerobic training effect. On the device there is also a page displaying a 7 day bar graph of training load. This graph shows both activities recorded on the Edge and synchronised from the fenix.

On the fenix it's a case of noting the training load number before and after synchronisation.

I am having the exact same issue and looking for an answer as well.

My Edge 530 reports a 7 day training load of 1,059 and my Felix 5 Plus reports 804. I have tried disabling TrueUp on both devices and reenabling it to no success. All the recent activities are mountain biking and show up on both devices.

Please see my post here. I have been able to make Fenix6P and Edge 530 work together. Just need to enable PhysioTrueup through GCM and sync both devices before and after each activity.
