I have saved locations on the watch. When I select them to navigate to 8n the Navigate app the watch crashes and reboots as soon as it gets a GPS signal fix.
Anyone experienced this or have a solution?

Sorry, still used to the old forum. This new setup isn't the most intuitive.
The watch is Fenix 5X
I just tried it... . my watch didn't crash... . but the navigation feature is broken...I just get a straight line to the saved location..instead of a route..... (only using the Garmin maps)
To be honest I don't use the built in maps..... all the third party maps I've installed work flawlessly with the watches navigational features........ Have you tried a third party map to see if its a problem with installing your maps.
I've got a combination of both default and 3rd party maps
I have a same problem too with my Fenix5x Plus. But the device doesn't restarting, just save nothing.
I mean, location saves as usual, but when I try to use Navigation->saved locations, I see only message "no locations saved"
I just tried it on my 5X, with map routing set to 'hike', with a point saved previously. Seemed to calculate and display a route OK.
Didn't crash, either on Start or on acquired GPS.
Using the topo-lite Australia and cycling maps that came with it.
I'd say, for me, it is working as expected.
Firmware version 13.30
I guess you checked that in the Navigate activity the 'Navigate Settings->Route' setting is not set to 'Direct'? (That does give a straight line) I tried it in 'Hike' and 'automobile' and it used the supplied Australian Topo Lite map to find a route, as expected. However I see elsewhere that on some maps it doesn't work.fenix-5x-does-not-calculate-auto-route-for-2019-10-maps
Yes checked all that..... I have the same problem as in the link you described...
I'm going to get rid of one half of Europe I don't need. .. to free up 3.7 gig.... for more detailed local maps.
Also the new map update says its 15.5 gig....
So I can't download it anyway... . Lol..
