Are there any body temperature sensors available for running in hot weather? It would be a nice thing to be notified if my core temp gets above some threshold

I haven't heard a functional one. There were gaugewear or sth. like that but I don't know if they have a product.
You can put Tempe sensor near core of your body, or even swallow it! But you'll need to write a data field or maybe a watch app to get notified about temperature changes.
I hope you're not serious. I wouldn't be suggesting anyone swallow a Lithium coin cell battery. Potentially fatal.
I saw that gaugewear site while looking into it. The thought came to me after watching one of these survival shows where they used a chest strap that included body temp while the person was going through his 100 hours surviving in the wilderness. They'd stop the challenge if their body temp got over 103.3 F and I wondered how my body temperature got during the hot summers because the humidity here can overheat you pretty quickly.
If this is something you still want you should check out the Core Body Temp sensor. (Google it) Does exactly what you were looking for.
It's just a bit expensive though...
Thanks but I have, 2 Fenix watches, 3 chest straps, foot pod, smart scale, and blood pressure monitor- all Garmin products. I'd wish they would put another sensor in my next Fenix because I'm wearing a bunch of other junk when I run as it is lol.
