Am I dead or something?

When I look at the Ios Garmin Connect or using the web interface I am geting the attached picture as my heart rate.

It seems that I do have a steday heart rate for the whole day but the picture was taken at 11:20 local time and it looks that when I was returining from my morning run my heart rate went crazy!

I am using a fenix 5x with the lates software version and when I run I am using a Garmin HR strap, the one with the red oval thingy on it. On the watch everything looks normal, only on the Iphone or on the web I get this great graphic.

  • You really can not see a problem?

Can you see that my heart rate is flat at the same value the rest of the day. The rest of today. The rest of the day I have not lived yet....... No living human can have this kind of flat hart rate graph. I am either dead or not human, not to mention the obvious time travel abilities...

  • If the HR widget on the watch is showing normal activity through the day, the problem appears to be the HR data syncing across to GC. Perhaps try forcing a sync as a starting point.

  • To answer your parent question. No I don’t think the reaper had anything to do with this. Lol

It could be ambient light, do you take your watch into a highly lit or other artificially lit area?

i don’t know what light frequency Garmin uses but it appears to be green on a spectrum chart. Try putting a sleeve over it and see if that changes anything...??

but that just a random shot in the dark... light... you know what mean.

oh nvm, looks like you’re using the strap.

Here’s what I’d do, Garmin used a certain spreadsheet data looks like the sync did not complete if like you said the watch looks normal.

So go into your watch and find the file that has all of that data in it, put it on desktop as a copy. Then go into Garmin connect and delete the connect post on the website. Then look for the spreadsheet upload page. It’s like upload *.gdat or something... upload the copy from your desktop. If the same problem exists then you know you’re not having a sync issue.

  • I am trying to attach the HR graph obtained the second day but I can not. This new forums are really great.

It was something very strange because the graph looks normal with flat line zones.

The conditions in which I was wearing the watch were the same as always, the strap was tight, I have a watck mark on my wrist due to the fact that I am wearing it in the same position always and I am tanned with a white mark where the watch it usually is. I have also tried to sync the watch with the Ios app and using WiFi with same results.

I do believe that Garmin is not for me, there are so many things wrong with my 5x and I am getting absolutely no help from Garmin.

I have been able to attach the picture after I have published the post then I edit it and only then I could attach the picture.
