Safety Features

Hope this isn’t a duplicate question, I spent about two mins looking back so... does anyone know if the Fenix line is getting the safety features like emergency alert? It seems like an easy software upgrade and I know the 5+ models got it but I don’t see it on my 5.

I have this on my Garmin Edge 1030, it rarely works so don't feel like you're missing out on something.

This is really a bad move from Garmin. The Fenix 5 is still a top of the line product and is still sold. I bought mine for a high price and expect some support. Adding this should be really not a problem. Come on Garmin. Add it to the Fenix 5 series as well.

I think it will not be implemented but for me it is not so useful feature. For example, if i can choose i prefer BODY BATTERY
