Errors on Weather (by Garmin) widgedt's

I wanted to point out update problems in the Garmin Weather app. The data is not updated and is often incorrect, due to the weather conditions and the temperature. How is it possible? How can I fix this? Is there an alternative?

There are options, including the OWM Widget. For even better data (but the API key is hard to get) There's also the WU Weather Widget

Garmins weather widget has always been inaccurate for me. It was the same on Fenix 3 and now Fenix 5. Temperature is regularly 2-3°C below actual and every other site. Sometime sthe current temperature also shows more than the supposed maximum for the day which is odd. No idea where they are getting the information from but it is not accurate at all. I'm in the UK if that makes any difference.

The Garmin weather widget gets its weather data via Bluetooth connectivity from your mobile phone but the fenix 5 needs to know where it is so just start any GPS app or hike/run/MTB and allow it to fix location (green circle). Then just close the app and give it a few minutes and weather data will show in Garmin weather widget.
