As of this morning, it works again
Not me. Suggest you turn the watch off then on again (not a reset, just off/on) as the first thing to try. I tend to do this after any update (based on some incidents I had a while ago and reported issues…
I'm experiencing same issues. I've tried resetting factory settings, reinstall connect app to phone, swithing off phone connection etc. It seems that even when switching phone connection off and not even…
One note for this one. I have configured a year ago all settings to a minimum battery use. So this is not the problem in my Fenix 5X watch. So the problem is this new update not my watch configuration.
Yes, extremely fast indeed!
I hope that they will release fixing for this really soon, because my next hiking trip is 28th of June. So I cannot use this Fenix 5X watch during that trip at all, which is really a crap situation for me.
This pisses me off! And this watch is not cheap one and I did not wait this kind of update from Garmin. Garmin testing team, did you test at all those updates????
I got little bit better battery life time, first 2 days its takes 10 % per day and then ts gonna take over 20% in the day on watch mode :(
and any hardreset dont helps
Absolutely the same issue since the 13.30 update. I bought my Fenix 5 in November 2018. I really only use it for step and HR, with some waling using UltraTrack. I was consistently getting 8-10 days on a charge. Now, I'm barely getting 2!
I wrote to customer support about the battery draining 5 times faster than before since the update. I did a factory reset, uninstalled everything (or, rather, didn't install anything), turned off bluetooth, and used UltraTrack for a 40 minute walk. Watch lasted just over 48 hours. Very disappointed.
No response yet from CS. It's been over a day. Will see what they say.
Same experience. Not even returning to beta 12.21 (which actually had very good battery life) worked. I wrote customer support and got a response the next day, that they will replace my watch. It is in exchange now, and I keep my fingers crossed that a new watch will be better.
My sync is dropping after phone restart once and again, I have to restart my phone in order to connect my fenix and the connections drops immediately.
And I am facing the same battery problem, and support is not answering.
I don¡t have notifications anymore since my connection doesn't work.
Not happy at all!
Great. 3 day wait for a reply from customer support only for them to tell me that I need to contact my local distributor for support! No jhelp at all.
A week later and still no reply from customer support. Pathetic work Garmin.
