Software Update - with Auto Update Off - updating any way...

Hi Guys,

I've already mentioned that before and I was waiting to see if it was my mistake in the first time but it wasn't.
After the launch of 13.00 and before connecting my watch I doubled checked that the Auto Update was set to off.
Regardless of that the watch got updated to 13.00 against my will.
Does any know if this a known bug?

Did you connect via Garmin Express?

I had mine set to auto update off and it skipped release builds... until I connected to GE and then it ignored that setting and updated.

Yes, it was GE but it shouldn’t right?
Auto update is meant only for wireless?

Auto-update parameter is only for WIFI updates... If you connect watch to Garmin Express, it will automaticaly update ... Sorry, the 13..0 seems to be a disaster. I stay with my 12.0 ...

Garmin should fix de owner manual. Does not say anything about wireless:

" Software Update Allows you to install software updates downloaded using Garmin Express
