This started happening to me. I got a run dynamics pod, added some CIQ datafields, got the latest software version, and was trying to test out navigating a course. During a run, my watch kept going to the blue triangle start up screen and then eventually returning to the run that it had stopped/paused. It happened probably 5+ times in under 10mins. It was driving me nuts. Each of the CIQ fields kept randomly turning into a "timer" field that I'd never selected to show during runs (or at any point). The only way that the "shut-down/reboot/resume run" cycle stopped was by me stopping & saving the run and starting a new run after deleting the CIQ fields and not trying to navigate a course. So I'm hoping that it was maybe just the CIQ datafields. It's going to be much more annoying if it's using the run dynamics pod, the latest software version, and/or navigating a course.
I have had the same exact issue since the SW upgrade. I thought it was my chest HR strap, but it the watch is basically re-starting over and over once I start an actiivity.
Hello, ive had this problem and couldnt get any of the resets to work but sorted it by re-installing an older version of software then setting it to NOT auto update to latest software. No issues at all now. hope this helps someone

Hi, which version of the software did u downgrade to. I've recently loaded 19.10 and now have this exact issue.
Hello, downloaded software version 9.10, its been working ever since i posted on here about the issues.
hope that helps
I am also having the same issues
I am sorry you are having the issue. I am unsure what the full story is of your watch but I tracked it back to being sold January 2018 and it is approaching 6 years old. Your type of issue does not always resolve but I recommend still pulling out all the stops to get it to work correctly again. (Your watch could have also already had the issue before you started using it.)
Please try the following:
Soft reset your watch by holding down your top left button until your watch powers off then let go of the button.
Reset to Defaults:
