No update (no sync) on vo2max...

Yes I have the same problem, since installing firmware 13.
My Vo2 max has not updated, its stuck at 19/4/2019 although I've done two bike rides

I've now returned to firmware 12.0

How did you returned to firmware 12.0?

I had the 12.81 beta update, Which I couldn't install, but in the folder with the beta there is always the normal update, This worked, Now back in an older version, until they suss it out

• If you would like to revert to the last public release software, drop the gupdate.gcd file, found in the System_Backdate_v1250 folder, into the \GARMIN folder of the device.
  
• NOTE: If you revert to an older version of software, all of your settings will be reset to defaults

I have also sent garmin an email about that bug.

How do you know it was not updating? Maybe your performance was similar, therefore vo2max number stayed the same. I also have unchanged 48 for running for some period of time, I think it is because I have not improve since then although I have been regularly running.

I did this to correct my crashes while out biking

I've just had the Vo2x max update , it's now showing 'Updated 4/23' it was stuck on 4/19 even when I had reinstalled the version 12 two days ago

This is what I did

1 ) I re-installed Version 12 with a clean setup, ran it for two days

2 ) then I downloaded the version 13.21 beta, this will restart the watch with a 'cleanish' (bit not clean setup) (don' bother pairing phone or anything)

Once booted into 13.21 then do a Clean setup using the following

• Hold the power/Light key until the menu appears.
  
• Choose power off.
  
• Press and Hold lap/Back button.
  
• Press the power/Light key
  
• You will get the menu “Clean user data: Yes/No?” release LAP button.
  
• Then choose yes to factory reset the Garmin watch
  
• Garmin watch is hard reset and ready to pair to Garmin Connect again.
  

This will really clear the watch, so starting like new and now my Vo2 max is showing the correct date / update

After a few runs vo2max it's start updating again by it's own. I didn't try to downgrade to an lower version. It just lost some days (runs) and after that updated...
