Garmin Connect Mobile and Fenix 5x

Anyone loosing battery on their phone like crazy? Since I added the Fenix 5x as a device, my Samsung s7 can no longer hold battery for the entire day. I checked the battery monitor and Connect is taking 15+% of the battery to run. Per some other suggestions, I removed the garmin weather app. It's still taking the same amount. Does it really take that much resource time to sync with the 5x? I posted this on the 5x forum because I was not having any issues with my F2 or Vivosmart with Connect. It's got to be an app or smartphone functionality causing it.

I observed battery drain once

... a couple of months ago with my old Fenix3HR. I restarted the phone and the watch to fix it.
Maybe this helps for you issue as well?

I have a 5X and use it with an S7 too and never had battery problems. Checking just now, I see Connect uses 0.04% battery.

Hi, my English isn't very well.

I've the same problem. I got my fenix 5 a few days ago and since I connected this devices (Samsung Galaxy S 7 Edge) I musst charge it min. 2 times a day. Mobile connect has 54% and Android system 34% in the battery overview. Bluetooth is always on since months and the battery was only all 2 days empty. Have any here a successful solution. Greets from Germany
