Hi , Yesterday I climbed 24 floors of my condo building and the reading which I got was confusing. Can you please comment on the reading which I got.Do I need to calibrate?
prashant.jx are you asking why you don't see the floors climbed against the activity? If so this is not something that most activities show - it should be recorded on your overall floors climbed for the day. On my watch I have a preset activity for floorclimb - I admit I have not used it but I would expect if I started an activity of that type then I would get number of floors as part of the data for that activity - the activity that you have linked to is uncategorised
TrippyZ -- Ceiling height is 10 Foot/floor still not 100% sure.
@JSRUNER-- I added floor climbed activity yesterday some how noticed the reading there was also not correct I climbed from 2nd Floor till 29 floor and the reading showed as 23 floor climbed.in case if you are interested to look at the result. Check the below link
prashant.jx - it will not necessarily measure floors in your building - Garmin I believe defines a floor as 10 ft of elevation change (measured using the barometer) which seems to agree with your elevation gain - you can't expect it to be 100% accurate - and indeed if you climb stairs where each floor is 20 ft then the device will show twice as many floors as you have actually climbed
