battery life with wrist based hr off

Hi, I was wondering if anyone has any experience of the average gps battery life with the wrist based hr turned off. I would also be disabling Bluetooth and any sensors as well. The Garmin site only gives battery life with the hr switched on and I could imagine that the wrist based hr would be a fairly large drain on the battery. Any help, will be very appreciated. I will be using normal gps
  • Search through the forums as there have been many similar posts. Basically, WHR has little impact on battery life under any conditions.
  • The LED's are probably about 3rd in power drain, a long way behind the GPS chip, and the backlight (depending on settings). I haven't experimented personally, but certainly less than 1% per hour in exercise mode (and far less than this in watch mode, where the LED sampling frequency is lower).

in my case, battery drain with WHR off, and BT off, is 4%/day in watch mode
    I use a belt HR during mtb: battery drain 25-30% /4h30m (gps+glonass)
