is being a while now (a month or more) that my Garmin Fenix 5 is somehow unable to store/count any rep in a custom workout.
It does show the exercise but it does not count the repetition and when it synchronizes with the Garmin Connect App the workout is empty, without exercises listed or weights (both of them defined in My Workout).
If i choose Strength--Free as an activity everything seems to be fine, the watch tries to understand what exercise i am performing as well as the number of repetition.
I have already contacted support and they suggested to Hard Reset my Garmin as well as delete the App and reinstalled, i did both but the result is the same (actually it is even worse now as it seems that the synchronization between the watch and the app gets stuck). Their next action plan is to send them back the Watch and get a replacement, but before doing so i wanted to ask around i anybody had the same experience and if it could be fix (as it seems to me that is more a software problem rather than an hardware one).
