I have a question about the detection of the Lactate Threshold Pace. I'm under the impression that the algoritm is way off. I know my lactate theshold should be around 3:48/km pace. As I've just recoverd from injury, I wanted to determine my pace zones for my interval training. As the auto detection constantly reported a value around 4:00/km at heart rate 170/171 (which is the correct threshold, I decided to perform the guided test. As the resuls of test one were dissatisfying (probably due to poor pacing, I repeated the same test the same day. I know that my pace at theeshold heart rate is way faster, I altered my 8x400m just below thereshold intervaltraining to include 3x400, 1x1200, 1,800 and 1x400m intervals. These intervals all have average paces between 3:32-3:40/km

Any idea how to get an accurate threshold pace estimation?
