Power Meter Drop Outs On Fenix 5

I am trying to decide if I have a problem with a new power meter vs. my fenix 5. The power meter a Favero Duo.

I am seeing power meter data drop out fairly frequently on my fenix. I see the power go to 0 or -. I can tell you I am pedaling at a consistent 200+w during several of these.

In addition I see in the graphs post ride power dropping to 0. While some of these are possibly me reaching for my water or shifting to standing and stopping pedaling for a second they definitely are not all that case. In fact I recorded the ride yesterday in zwift and the power graphs in zwift show far fewer drops to 0.

How can I troubleshoot if the power meter is sending junk vs the fenix 5 ant reception being poor.

I'm experiencing the same phenomonom. If I put my Fenix 5 very close (approx 20 cm) next to the left pedal, there are no dropouts (with ANT+). If I use Bluetooth, I don't see any dropouts at all. I've allready have contact with someone of customer support of Favero and created a ticket via their support website, but no solutions yet. I advise you to do the same.

Today I have the same Problem.....I used a Power2max NCeco. With my Edge 520 Record the Powermeter with no dropouts....(same time9 With my other Roadbike i used a Power2max Classic....there areno Dropouts with my Fenix.....:confused:

It appears I have an issue with my pedals. Favero has been very helpful so far and are working with me. In my case the problem appears to be somewhere in communication between the two pedals (I have the dual sided version).

I have just started seeing this issue with my fenix 5 and favero. were you able to resolve this issue?
