Since the update to 12.40, I'm constantly getting messages when I start an activity or select a widget telling me my watch was recently upgraded. Normally I would just get the one message of an upgrade and that was it. Everything is constantly bringing up this message and very annoying. To make matters worse, there are constant alerts that an upgrade failed overnight. I can't read it without my reading glasses. I try to click away to get back to the watch face, but the message reappears within a second. I have no idea what it's complaining about. I do not see the messages during the day. I've rebooted the watch, but makes no difference. Morning alarms go off late or never. Something in the 12.30 or the 12.40 upgrade has destabilized my watch and I don't know how to correct this. During the day the watch works just fine and all activities work.

Did some more tinkering. According to watch menu, it's still on 12.30. I tried to select the upgrade option, but it tells me: "Upgrade failed. Try again from Garmin Connect." I think that's what it was telling me last night. However, I've tried from Garmin Connect earlier and it says it does not need the update. So, I'm stuck now.
