Hello, as I said in the title, I don”t manage to update my watch to 12.30 firmware version, now it has 12.51 version. Any ideea how to do it without a rollback?... I”m sick of making tons of rollbacks and loosing all data from the watch any time Garmin fails an decent software update! P.S I have this beautifull error message, any ideea what it means?...software error or sensor error? ciq.forums.garmin.com/.../1448836.jpg
12.51 is a beta version. While it's publicly available (link at the top of the forum), it's not the sort of thing you can get "accidentally".
And I agree, beta software is yet to be fully tested (that's the whole point of beta software). If you don't like the risks of bugs and rollbacks, don't use beta software.
For any issues that you encounter, please send an email to [email][email protected]

Although this software is believed to be reliable, it has not yet been released for production and should be used at your own risk."
Come on guys, don”t you think it supposed to work fine with official releases?... but they don”t! I just try to make my device to work properly, that is the reason I try beta software, so dont throw rocks on me, its not my fault that they are incapable to make a good and reliable software. So any solutions, or just chating?
I think you don't have any other option than to rollback to the previous stable version - 12.00.
You should first downgrade to 12.00 and after that upgrade to 12.30 /because 12.51 is later number than 12.30/. Just follow point 8 from the instructions here: https://www8.garmin.com/support/down...11663#Instruct "If you would like to revert to the last public release software, drop the gupdate.gcd file, found in the System_Backdate_v1100 folder, into the \GARMIN folder of the device."
