When I select Walking as an activity, the navigation gets stuck at the start of the route.
Steps to produce:
1. Start Walking activity
2. Long press menu button > Navigate > Saved Locations
3. Go To
I have select the watch to follow roads. The calculated route looks acceptable, but remaining distance is always 0m. The turn by turn instructions never update even if I walk on the drawn route (turn by turn list looks acceptable, but never advances). It always tries to navigate me to the start position.
I even tried walking back to the start position, but no difference. Just can’t get the navigation to get unstuck. Seems like the watch doesn’t want me to move anywhere ;)
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
EDIT:
Activity settings used are as follows:
- Map > Configure > Only Garmin Cycle Map Europe, North East enabled (tried also with base map enabled as well, but made no difference)
- Routing > Activity > Pedestrian
- Routing > Courses > Use map
- Routing > Calculation method > Minimize Time
- Routing > Avoidances > Ferries enabled
