fenix 5S and Samsung Galaxy S7 - share gpx offline - USB OTG problem

Hi,
unfortunately my fenix 5s is not visible on Samsung Galaxy S7 via USB OTG. My settings on watch and S7 IMHO are OK.
It seems to work - on fenix screen, battery level is visible - on S7 file manager wants to start - but files (extern memory) are not visible and Android S7 memory overview says Garmin not working correctly.
Other USB sticks working fine.
I think it's a problem of Samsung/S7 directly.

Has someone in use fenix 5S + Samsung S7 and working USB OTG connection correctly?
Is there another possibility to share gpx files with Android offline and without PC (S7 to watch, watch to S7)?

    Good Morning,
Djij , Thank you. Same here. Another one said in German Forum "FAT32" - and on his S7 the 5S works fine with USB OTG.
So, this also can't be the reason, as your watch and S7 is working too - with "FAT".
    Very stange...
Also no advice from Garmin-Support and Samsung-Support...

BTW: I meanwhile found a solution to import gpx into fenix from S7 in offline mode (without Garmin Connect): gimporter via Bluetooth.
Is there also a possibility to EXPORT gpx of done tracks in offline mode from fenix into smartphone in Android?

    Update:
    Yesterday, I received a mail from Garmin-Support:
    - It's not intended, fenix to be connected via USB OTG to a mobile phone Android or iOS. (Remark: I still don't know, why many mobile phones are OK - but whatever...)
    - The name in Windows "FAT" is irrelevant. Also in other systems, the name can be different, e.g. in MAC OSX: MS-DOS-FAT.

  • Try Gexporter from android side, and IQ widget gimporter from fenix side.
Works fine for export from locus map gpx with track and waypoint.

Hi IMJozefowicz : Yes, you're right. I have it already, as explained in #12.
Works fine, to get the gpx via bluetooth FROM android INTO fenix.
The only thing, I didn't find a solution for, is to EXPORT gpx from fenix TO android (without network - only via bluetooth), to show done tracks in Locus map on smartphone.
