I have complained for a long time that the 5x pool distance minimum of 17 meters was too short as many hotel pools etc are 12-15m.
And somehow at some point - Garmin has actually reduced the minimum length of indoor pool's to 14m! Hurray - now lets let the last 1/3 of hotel pools included and get the limit < 11-12m please :)
but kudos to Garmin for actually doing it on the 5x software (as well as my 5X+)
No need to mention Apple does a lot better still with Indoor pool tracking is there?
