Does not switching on! Help!

Hello.
Very sad story... Once during charging my device switched off and not recognizing by computer, not switching on, not responding to buttons. When connected to a charger, nothing happens, the logo does not appear on the screen, the backlight does not work. Lifeless screen...
Help please!

    Charging via wall socket? Quicker. Holding down the light button doesn't bring it back to life? Sounds like might have to call support and get a swap out. :-(

    I had the same problem once. The watch completely discharged when I had it on the charger and wouldn't turn on afterwards. (Turned out that the pins in the charging cable had gotten stuck in and had to be freed up. They have springs)
    Eventually though, after cleaning those cable pins, I could charge it and a long press (25 sec?) on the light button brought it back. (Basically hold the button until you get the blue Garmin triangle logo.It might take 25 ssec or so)

    yes, ive tried charging via wall socket, the same problem, not charging, not powering on. Holding light button doesn't help.
    Support recommended to perform soft reset, but it also doesnt bring any effect. Now I'm waiting for the second answer of support.

    There is a way to hard reset the 5x if you can't get to the watch menu,because its not powering on properly.
    it goes something similar to this:
    Hold start and back and down and light to power on.
    then wait for one beep...release start....wait for another...release back...wait for a third and release down....watch is now hard reset.
    When you ring support again... remind them to go through this method with you... if the person you speak to dosen't know how to do it.... someone there will.
    Sorry I can't remember the exact method.

    I had exact problem with the watch not turning on after it fully drained, I had to press the "Light" button and the "Power" button at the same time and I got the Triangle and then it displayed the charge %

    Thanks a lot. followed the step mentioned and now my watch is working.

    Had the same problem, how many times it take to fully drain?  And also, light button and power isnt the same button?

    Mine has a blank black screen and no flashing green lights on the back. Tried all the button combos I can find and still nothing. Bought a new charge cable and cleaned contacts, tried charging from mains and computer. Nothing is getting it to turn on, is it dead?
