CIQ Watchface Battery Drain

I have installed a watchface which is a CIQ Background Data update watchface, however the batterylife is terrible less than 1 day.

The exact same watchface on a Fenix 5X plus is getting 7 days, while 5X is getting hours.

I have reset the watch settings to default, hard reset the watch and uninstalled the Garmin Connect App on my Note 8 and still have not got any improvement.

After trying all those steps I am convinced there is a bug in 12.0 on the 5X as the exact same watchface works fine on that watch.

Anymore ideas? How can I log this bug with Garmin direct?

    Yes, I have contacted the Developer and he is at a loss as to why its happening as the code that runs the watchface is generic, there is one path to get the data which is using the battery efficient API which gets polled every 5 min.
    He has tested other Garmin devices, and doesnt have the issue.

    Hence why I am thinking its the firmware on the 5X.
