Resting Heart Rate graph showing nothing. What am I doing wrong?

SOLVED:
For the first time I tried to see what my average Resting Heart Rate was over the past week and I see that the graph is blank and Av.RHR shown as ---.
(I got to the Av.RHR graph by pressing the 'start' button whilst on the HR widget).
I do have the Optical HRM enabled with Auto and can see my instantaneous HR. It's accurate-ish if I have the strap tight.
I've been wearing it for about a year or so with the OHRM enabled. Never took much notice of the RHR graph before but I think I remember it used to work.
I don't wear the watch at night (too uncomfortable with the strap done up enough for the Optical HRM to work) Is that the problem?
I don't use the 'track my day' thing. Does that matter?

Any thoughts? Do I have to enable it somewhere? Known bug? (Am using version 11 firmware on the Fenix 5X)

Aha!
I just checked and I do have the Resting Heart Rate set to a 'custom' value in my user-profile. Could that be disabling the graph? (maybe I'll switch it to 'use average' which is showing a value (57), somewhat higher than I'd expect from my own measurements.) OK, did that and now the AvRHR graph is still blank but it does show the AvRHR numerically as 57 instead of ---. I'll give it a week and see what happens.

OK, even after a few minutes, a dot has appeared on the graph, so I guess it was the custom AvRHR that broke the graph. Makes sense, sort of.

BTW, I checked the manual... Could not find anywhere where it said that using a custom RHR would break that graph.
