Fenix 5S/5 - 11.57 Beta Release

*** UPDATE: We have updated the version 11.57 Beta folder to include the new Sensor Hub version 6.25. The beta update is named 11.571 on the website, but that it just for hosting purposes. The system software version will still dispay as 11.57 on your device. ***

11.57 Change Log Notes:

Fixed an issue where a calorie alert could be shown early during a pool swim activity.
Fixed an issue preventing the Share Mode for XERO Locations from being changed.

At this moment the Fenix 5 link has the Sensor_Hub_v6.21 in the zip folder. Confusing.

Thanks for the report. Looks like 6.24 has not loaded yet.
We will have that adjusted soon so that you can download.

I'm getting constant ow-hr dropouts for 1-10min during 24/7 tracking using the new sensor hub. Never had a problem before. (on Fenix 5s)
Anyone else having the same problem?

Hi everyone,

Thanks for bringing the sensor hub issue to my attention. I've reuploaded the beta files. In order for the files to upload, I had to rename the fenix 5 beta version to 11.570. The files are identical, with the correct 6.24 sensor hub version included. The version number only affects the webpage, once installed it will display as 11.57.

New Issue...

Sending Workouts and Training Plans to the Fenix 5 from the Garmin Connect App is now not working any more.

It confirms on the Phone that the Workout/Training Plan is sent, but never appears on the watch.

It should popup automatically when entring the Run App that a workout is scheduled, but it doesn't.

I tried to send only the Workout to the watch and enter the menu for Training, but it's completely empty.

Please advise...

Hi Thomas,

did you trie to open the training calendar manually:
open Run activity
press menu -> training -> scroll down to the calendar, should be the last option in the list.

Yes, that list is also completely empty, so it’s very strange.

Same issue here, but there was an update to Garmin Connect this morning (iOS) that fixed the issue, My swim training was then laoded correctly to the watch.
