Watch reboots when calculating a route

Any time I attempt to calculate a route now my watch resets. Doesn't seem to matter when I do the route creation, either during an activity (back to start, new route) or when navigating to features around me. It reboots very soon after starting the route creation.

I have two maps enabled: worldwide DEM basemap, NR and TOPO U.S. 100k v6.

Any ideas for how to fix this? This is a feature I really need and I'd like to get it fixed. Thanks in advance.

I made no further attempts to fix this problem until this morning, when on a whim, I tried creating a very short 2 mile course on the watch. It worked fine. I then attempted an 11 mile course and it was able to create that as well. No idea what the problem was, but it has resolved itself.
