My F5 upgraded to firmware 11, and I see the GPS firmware is 4.4. This should allow GPS+Galileo but in settings I still see just GPS ONLY or GPS+GLONAS as options. Should I have this feature?
Upgrading to Gallileo is a 2 part process - you have to upgrade the FW to 11, and then upgrade the GPS from 4.4 to 2.3. If there is an update still required, the GPS version will show as 4.40 (!)
Reconnect to Garmin Express, and the 2nd update should proceed (although there can be a delay of 15 minutes or so).
I don't have a 5 or 5s... but I think the Sapphire versions have Wi-Fi? Using Wi-Fi I received the update and GPS update in one.... But no Wi-Fi.......its the two part method already explained by mcalista and openbox9. :--)
Not a chance, I'm afraid; not enough storage on the 5/5s, and the Bluetooth chipset probably is different, and may not support audio in the first place (the plus chipset supports NFC for payments, also unavailable on the F5 models).
