QuickFit 26 bands ( durability ?)

Anyone try the QuickFit 26 watch bands on their Fenix 5x?
I've heard some reports about poor durability. I am a little doubtful, since I would expect the band that came with the F5X would be the same quality level.

Also, i'm having a dang difficult time (even searching google images) for some realistic views on what some of the colors really look like. I dont see to find these band in stores anywhere, so its a pain to see what the Moss Green, Solar Flare Orange, and Coyote Tan really looks like.

Anyone have personal experience on durability? Maybe post some photos of the the colors if you have any of those above.
Thanks!
  • I've had my F5x since it came out pretty much. Same original bad. Except for the texture being worn smooth. It seems to be holding up. and I wear the F5x as a 24x7 watch. so for me, I would say the bands had held up too daily use, and the ultra I've run in.

do you swim in your (chlorine?) maybe that impacts lifespan?
  • I also have experienced that the 26mm watchband is of relatively poor quality. (that also goes for my older Fenix 3 band that currently my wife is using). After every usage I rince my watch of with lukewarm water. For my F5x I also bought the leather band and that one's also not the quality I would expect given the price you pay..
  • Friend of mine was using the stock band and was swimming in a lake and when he got out of water, his watch fell down of wrist on the grass - band was torn although before no signs before and it was not yet one year old. If it happened 5 minutes earlier, he does not have the watch anymore. I use garmin metal band and full satisfaction.
