Incorrect Swim recording Software version 11.00

So Garmin completely meed up version 10.x with counting of swim laps, which was supposed to be fixed in version 11. I downgraded to Version 9.x when this happened and all was good. Thinking it was fixed I installed 11.00, and the outcome is , yes it is better than 10 ( 10 would add 10 laps in one go!) I am still getting rogue laps on Version 100.00

Anyone else having this problem?

If I downgrade to 9.x again, what will happen with the new GPS version that 11 has put on? Will it screw my device?

I have emailed Garmin with the problem, but no doubt their incapable software engineers will not fix it or if they do they will screw something else! ( I am a software beginner myself and can't believe the rubbish they release and the bugs they introduce)

I had 2 extra lengths added into the count today. I can see from the intervals that 2 lengths were split in half for some reason.

No problems for length count but +1 stroke by line than with FW 8.0

I am rather disappointed with this first Garmin watch I got mainly for swimming. Same problem of rouge laps PLUS it cannot detect Breaststroke. Starting a brand new session when I changed stroke works for the first 2 laps and then stopped completely again - i.e. didn't record any length done in Breaststroke! I wonder did ver 9 had this problem?
