I am not able to find a way to prevent GPS recording during a custom app. I checked the manual and there's no GPS setting in the watch settings menu as indicated by the manual--it just seems to record by default without any settings to prevent this. Please help.
By "custom app", do you mean a CIQ app you downloaded from the app store? With those, it's up to the app itself if GPS is used or not. A few may provide a setting for that but you'll find that many use GPS/don't use GPS based on the activity.
