My iPhone was upgraded to IOS 12.0.1 last night and since then the watch doesn't get any notifications. When my phone rings the watch should vibrate and tell me who's calling. The settings for notifications in the Garmin connect app haven't changed. I've checked them, and they are all set to on. The watch syncs fine with the phone, it shows the current weather and everything seems fine otherwise. Just the notifications have all stopped. Does anyone else have the same issue and know how to fix it? I've tried rebooting both the watch and the phone.
Update: I spoke to Garmin support and they were brilliant. They asked me to hold down the top left power button until the watch powered off. Then with the watch off go into the mobile connect app and switch off notifications. Then turn the watch back on and let it sync. Go back into the app and turn on notifications and re-sync. It's worked for me, so if anyone else is having the issue with notification following the IOS upgrade, give that a go.
