glonass / galileo??

hi - I don't post here often so please forgive if I have duplicated another thread.
just wondering with the new galileo gps option which is more suitable for the UK... gps& galileo or gps & glonass?
also is galileo EU only? I will be in India for a few weeks and just curious which one to use there...
my ultratrac is way out, measuring distance +20 to 25% on what it should, even for short 5k :(

I'm a bit north of Atlanta Georgia (not real relevant to the OP, but maybe to other interested in this subject) and I've run a very informal test over the past few days, running the same route with GPS…

Galileo is a global network and technically more accurate, but their constellation of satellites is not due to reach full operating capability until 2019 - so their effective accuracy until then MAY not be as good.

GLONASS does better at higher latitudes than closer to the equator.

For the UK, probably GLONASS for now. For India, perhaps Galileo.

Ultratrac can make sense from a battery life perspective for an Ultra/multi-day hike, but I don't why you would use it for a 5K.

Switched in Gallileo and went for a run. Tracks seem smooth here in the UK... I’ll have to try a well trodden route and compare accuracy.

I'm a bit north of Atlanta Georgia (not real relevant to the OP, but maybe to other interested in this subject) and I've run a very informal test over the past few days, running the same route with GPS only, GPS + GLONASS and GPS + Galieo and all 3 results were too close to accurate to complain, but the GPS +Galileo was the best. Zooming into my run map, it was most accurate in where I ran in relation to the road I was on. The other 2 options had me plotted occasionally running in some yards as ran through cul-de-sacs.
