Body Battery is coming?

It looks like Body Battery could come to Fenix 5 family. I can see the space (though no data yet) in the Health section between stress and intensity minutes.
  • I vote for this feature as the parameters of Body Battery formula is already there. Come on Garmin, just add them in the widget for F5, thanks

  • hey guys...   Stop dreaming! once you bought you watch (at to say not cheap price allready....)  you do not exist for Garmin....     Enything else you want You have to pay again = buy new model !
Even if there is a only minimalist improvements or adding 1 or 2 features = New model = U pay again!

Soon they will lunch ''New Model'' each month +200 €  :)

So, instead 'dreaming'' better say thank you to Garmin that soft updates (which fix the problems & bugs) are free!!! wow !

I think this feature is not a reason to upgrade to a new model. It could be a good message from garmin to loyal athletes as fenix is part of the high end sport watches

  • The same thing I was saying every time but it seems that no one want to listen. They are buying and buying garmin new much more expensive watches. And all to be great, garmin will not include ever new features in the watches that are 1-2 year older, even if the watches having hardware for those new features. Probably I will get a down vote from the ones who have to much money and still buying garmin expensive watches!

Garmin has added many features after purchase. 1. configurable low battery alerts 2 all-day respiration rate tracking 3 Climb Detection' setting in Cycling 4 Added support for using a foot pod as the distance source while running with a GPS fix 5 Add an optional countdown timer after rests in pool swim 6 Added display swim distance with greater precision in very long open water swims. 7 Added support for muscle oxygen sensors. 8 Added support for Find My Watch. 9 Added a better pool swim distance algorithm. 10 Added a snooze option to alarms.  I could list dozens more, but no need. Just google firmware update **your watch** to see the dozens of added features beyond bug fixes.

  • I just got an email from Garmin about using Body Battery.  Problem is, I don't see this option on my Garmin Fenix 5s, so why would they just now send me an email about using it to look for Coronavirus?  If anything they should at least specify which devices offer Body Battery. I had never heard of it until they told me to use it.

  • Fine it is true but what about body battery or Virtual Run which are real added value Apps and not only fixes or upgrades ? Seriously it makes me nervous for an 1 year old watch bought 700€ Angry

  • They could introduce paid upgrades...

Siamo alle solite leggi del mercato ultima uscita ultime rivelazioni prendo il garmin e lo butto e non compro piu niente e chi se ne frega.

  • My experience too and remember Garmin releases a new Fenix every 2 years and stops providing new functionality for your expensive watch. A watch this expensive should be able to run new software for a much longer period
