Hi there,
I finally got around to trying a running workout using the tools on connect.garmin.com. I made a simple warmup then a repeated set of .5km at a pace-based intensity target and other .5km at a different pace-based intensity target. Then a short cool down.
I don't remember if I successfully synced the workout from my desktop or from my phone.
Anyway, it worked great. I was really impressed with how it worked. The watch showed my pace on a sort of "pace-o-meter" scale between (or outside of!) the target low and high pace numbers.
Encouraged, I edited the same workout to adjust the pace numbers using my phone and re-synced the workout from the phone before a run today.
This time there was no pace-o-meter. It still seemed to be beeping happiness/unhappiness depending where I was in or out of the target range, but no snazzy meter graphics.
Does that make sense to anyone? Did I do something wrong?
To muddy the waters more, I can't remember if my watch notified me it upgraded to V11.0 before or after the 1st run.
I don't have the stamina yet to do these workouts over and over to do lots of tests... I guess I could create some really short workouts and try different things.
