I bought a new Fenix 5X yesterday. I can't get the software to upgrade and it is stuck on version 8.20. I have searched and not been able to find a solution.
Garmin Express 'updates' the firmware and shows it as being 10.20, the install only takes a few seconds and the Fenix doesn't do anything. Both the watch and Connect show that it is 8.20 and up to date. I have deleted and re-installed GE, reset the watch and re-installed Connect. It's definitely not on10.20 as I there are watch faces and data fields I can't add as the software needs upgrading.
