Auto start OHRM with activity

Forgive me if this have been up for discussion before but when I try to search I get to many hits.

Whit the Fenix 5, are there anyway to have the OHRM set to auto start with activity. So that the OHRM is off all the time, but as soon as you start an activity the OHRM turns back on? I can’t get that to work.

I need to have it set to on all the time or have it set to off an manually set it to on before starting an activity to get HR-reading during activity.

Is it possible to get it to auto start? If so, how?

The reason I wanted it to be set to auto is that I want to save battery when I’m not doing an activity. It’s not an issue when I can plug it into the charger, but when I’m in the terrain for about a week without that option it would be nice if the watch did this automatically.
