unique activity for a 5 days trekking

Hi all,
I will have a trekking of 5 days in November and i would like to track it all with my F5.
I will record it with the trekking app but i would like to have, at the end of the trekking, an entire unique activity.
How can i do this? if i save an activity at the end of the day, this can't be resumed later right?
I know that there is a function called "resume later" but i would like to be sure that i will not lost the recorded trak and "resume later" option don't save the track but simply take it in standby. For this reason i am worried to lost it all.
So, there is an option directly n the watch or or I will have to connect the 5 different activities once at home?

thank you

The "Resume Later" function works pretty well. The only thing I've noticed is that you can't start another activity before you actually "finish" the paused one. For your trek, it seems like this would work well. "Resume Later" at the end of each day, then "Resume" the next morning. I think the watch is pretty good at salvaging your data if it crashed before the track was "Completed".
  • thank you philadendron for your opinion.
I'm a little bit worried to lost the track with "resume later" option (maybe if i charge the watch with a powerbank during the stops or maybe because the watch crashed or finish the battery charge).
Anyway i'll decide what to do.

    Thank you very much,

  • Resume Later is indeed a possibility, and you won't lose anything through recharging.

But tracking it for 5 days will lead to a very large file size, which can make the watch laggy, and may slightly increase the risk of crashes. The cautious approach would be to record each day individually, and then merge the files afterwards. There are .fit file tools around the internet that will allow you to do this.
  • interesting consideration.
    thank you mcalista!
