here my statistic for Fenix 5 and 5X Plus, the same setup, no notifications and GPS... The Fenix 5 is my second, the first I gave it in care because they consumed 25% per day.
Hm. I don't quite see why you think a 5x+ is a fair comparison with a 5, the battery's bigger. But, if you're not using GPS, that is a lot for your 5 to be getting through. Mine was using about 6% a day up to firmware 10.0 or thereabouts, and the consumption actually improved after that.
