I do a bit of fishing and it would be nice to track it with my Fenix watch. Usually I walk around a lake or along a river and fish for a couple couple of hours so I would like to save a gps-track and set way points/points of interest on the hot fishing spots. How do I achieve this? I tried to use the walk and hike activity but have not figured out how to mark the hot fishing spots with a waypoint.
You can do this easily. Use Hike or similar to track your route and when you want to save a location as a waypoint, if you press and hold the light key until the quick menu shows you can then use save location to save a particular position on that route to your watches saved locations. Once done, press the back key to return to the hike screen.
