My iPhone will play ringtones, despite being on silent, when paired with my Fenix 5. Has anyone else experienced this? I can't seem to find any setting in either the phone or the watch that would cause this issue.
I have a Tactix Charlie and iPhone X. The only setting that I can think of that would do this is the emergency bypass feature on the iPhone.
Is it a particular contact that it is happening with? Eg my wife is set to emergency bypass. So if I’m in a meeting and I get a call or iMessage from her I know it’s urgent and need to answer it. If so check in the contacts app for that person if emergency bypass is enabled.
If it’s happening with all contacts then I’d suggest unpairing the watch. Try and see if that solves the problem and then repair and see if it comes back.
After that try a reset of all settings on the phone and see if that helps.
