Not sure you're wondering whether you've got an APAC watch. If so, mine (APAC, against my will...) says so on the Garmin Connect app. Moreover, on the watch, Settings/System/Language will have just English as "Occidental" language (on my Fenix 5 the 3 other options are Bahasa, Malay, Viet Nam and something with unrecognizable - to me - characters).
I also want to know if my F5 is APAC region or not.
I cant see anywhere in the app where it says the region. When I look at the languages available in the settings (as above) it lists a heap of different ones. Does that mean its not APAC?

Most probably, yes. Want to be sure? Try to install the current Beta (10.58) on it. It will not update (neither damage) an APAC, but will work on a non-APAC.
Open file garmindevice.xml that is located in Garmin folder. Find tag Description, there will be model name. You can see APAC there, regular version does not have such word. <Description>fenix 5x APAC</Description>
